Disbandment of Japan and Carthage, Jinxe cracking down on pvpers

On Friday the entire nation of Japan got banned and the faction was subsequently griefed and disbanded, sparking anger in the punished players who claim that the ruling was unjustified and dictated by personal bias against specific players, and casting doubts over administration’s legitimacy.

The ruling was made following the clashes of the Japanese with arongobongox, who kept harassing the nation. Allegedly, he abused admin powers, involving the use of /vanish, forcibly claiming some of the Japanese territory(server it’s still in grace period) and massively spawning enchanted items. Arongobongox denies these claims.

Jinxe, the head admin of the iteration, asked to clarify the reasons for such punishment, failed to specify the exact rules the Japanese had broken, instead resorted to calling them “shitters” and stated that he “doesn’t want pol drama on the server”. He also referred to the past unlawful activities of ncordo, the leader of Japan, and his group, that they were punished for during the previous iterations.

Lemon_Shot, the host of /int/craft, asked to comment on the controversial ruling, explained that “the bans matter now” and even though 2 months passed since the last iteration ncordo remains permanently banned.

Afterwards, Jinxe decided to reverse the full ban on the Japanese, pardoning most of them and leaving only ncordo and NebeldesQT banned.

Disbandment of Carthage

Another large faction, besides Japan, already got disbanded by the administration. Carthage, a trading port in the Mediterranean, led by International_Jew was disbanded over the ostensible use of alt accounts(reportedly 21) to boost the town’s claiming power.

Unclear ruling regarding the pvp in grace period

Accordingly to the /int/craft’s long lasting tradition, initially pvp in the grace period remained enabled(usually the grace period wasn’t restrictive on pvp itself, it only forbidded declaring a war and besieging enemy towns). However, Jinxe, concerned about increasing violence, had turned back his decision few times as well threatening offenders with penalties.

Scythia, a warlike nation located north of the Black Sea, already attempted to impose it’s will on neighbouring nations, by exorting a tribute in exchange for not raiding. These actions met with objection from Jinxe, who required Scythians to cease assaulting other nations still in the grace period and made them return a set of enchanted gear to a Troyan leader, DonTrump, who lost it in a violent encounter with roguelich.

As for now, pvp remains disabled, and the grace period was said to end in 3 days.
