New Iteration Rumors

After a prolonged 2 month break following the last iteration finally there appears to be a real progress in reviving /int/craft. Two prominent 1.0 players – BeefTenderloin and HeyItsJinx returned to the community and allegedly they are committed to work on a new iteration, announced Lemon_Shot, the host of few recent iterations.

22.0’s end for a long time seemed like a nail in the coffin of /int/craft. Despite the iteration’s relative success a lot of players(mainly members of an established inner circle of /int/craft) joined together to declare that “/int/craft is dead” and should stay so, strongly dissaproving and opposing any attempts to bring the server back to life. Both hosts of few recent iterations – Lemon_Shot and lunaalsomywaifu officially declared no interest in developing /int/craft.

The former hosts remained rigid in spite of massive support for a new iteration on the board.”They’re all just worthless newfags” was luna’s comment on multiple threads asking for a new server. “Maybe if there was a group of  friends of mine asking me to launch an iteration, then maybe”. Their stance on the matter was quite understandable as without people willing even to administrate the server, the hosts had to take care of developement, advertisement, administration(and no to mention costs of maintaining the server) all on their own.

Even though Luna refused to put up a full fledged iteration he launched a small creative Christmas server for “bored /int/crafters who have nothing else to do”. On that server, a spontaneous decision was made by few reunited older players to continue the legacy of /int/craft.

Details are still unknown and hotly debated by the admin team which most likely consists of Lemon_Shot, HeyItsJinx and BeefTenderloin. HeyItsJinx is almost a legendary figure in /int/craft community, player mostly remember by his treacherous behaviour in 1.0, to which still many older players refer with nostalgia. BeefTenderloin was the temporary leader of 1.0 Britain, after being ousted he led a Gallic tribe of Aedui. Then he funded Celtiberia and Epirus in 3.0. He is a firm supporter of using Factions as a protection plugin instead of Towny.

UPDATE: Beef’s disruptive behavior following a dispute over protection plugin, got him removed from the admin chat. Therefore most likely he won’t participate in new iteration’s developement.

HeyItsJinx claims that he aims to “restart the brand” with another 1000 BC Towny server.
